Week One - Write a summary of the class reading book you looked at last term. What was it called? Who wrote it? What was the basic storyline? What stood out for you as its main themes? Would you recommend it to someone else?
Last term i read a book called a Wrinkle in Time. It was written by Madeline L'engle and she is a great author. The characters in the book were a girl called Meg, a little boy called Charles-Wallace and a boy called calvin. They are tryng to find Megs and Chales-Wallaces dad. They reacha new dimesion were you can travel at the speed of light. The dimesion is called tesseract. They are searching with three women, Mrs Whatsit, Mrs Who and Mrs Which. The three women could tesser throught time. There was something stopping them it was called IT. IT is a giant brain that rules the town Camazotz. He take Charles-Wallace under his power. At the end the father is found and IT is destroyed.
To me i thought this book was a really good and exciting. It maybe a little boringor the first few pages but its gets more exciting along the way. I would reccomend this book to the people between the ages of 9-13 because it is quite hard book to read. I thurrily enjoyed this book and if you read the book i hope you do to

I loved this book. I really like the Idea that there are 3 kids who go into another dimension and that the land camazotz is ruled and taken over by a big brain. I like that the main part of the story is finding there dad. one of the other things I like about the story is that they go with strangers and not with family and friends.I recomend this book toeveryone and anyone

You most disliked character in a book and why.
The character that i disliked the most was snape in Harry Potter. He is a bad guy but dumbledore accepts as a teacher and and he is in slytherine, I hate slythirine. At the end of the seires he kills dumbledore and he is a deatheater. Snape tourments Harry when he reads his mind and then Harry does it back at him. I hate him.
Snape is the secret potions master and he blends in with the Hogwarts staff and facilty. He is under as a mean, nasty deatheater. He is a deatheater with his friend Lucious Malfoy. Snape is trying to kill dumbledore and Hasrry Potter. Snapes master is Voldemort( the one who should not be named).Snape is trying to kill Harry because voldemort tried to kill him and failed. From that Harry has a big scar.

My most disliked character was in a book called Shark bait and the character is called baldy, that isn't his real name but the book calls him baldy. The reason that I don't like him is because he traps a boy called Sam in a bird cage with a very dangerous bird. They want the bird to kill Sam. I also don't like him because he is scary and he illegally catches birds from all over the world.
I was also mean of him when he saw Sam and his friend Michi downing and being eaten by a shark and all he did was bump them and sailed away.

What has been your most favourite Justin D'Ath extreme adventure book and why\
My favourite D'Ath extreme adventure book is killer whale. It was my favourite book because if they make one wrong step on the iceberg they could fall through the ice and be eaten iether by a sea lepord or a killer whale
I haven't read one but they sound every good sepcaily that one I can not beileve you can actually fall through ice I thought it is soo stronge that it can hold anything even the fatest man in the world.
Hope I get the same book as you out of the extreme advetures although I did not read a extreme adveture but I read Snowida
